If kids dont want to be here then why are they forcing them to be? Its just causing unnessary trouble. The school should be able to get rid of kids who dont care and dont want to be here; and the kids that dont care shouldnt be forced to come. Its meaningless chaos. When you think about it, they're only hurting the school. Take the FCAT for example.
( ) students failed the reading portion last year. They dont try because they dont care. Thats part of the reason why our electives are diminishing; and our school graed are going down. Terry Parker has ( ) reading classes. If we didnt have so many, we would still have our electives. But we dont. And its all because of careless students flunking the fcat. Why dont they actually put forth the effort and pass it the first time instead of having to take it again... and again??

Is this one of your stories??? It seems really short, and a little too formally written.

Um there is one typo "and our school graed are going down" , Maybe you should try to interview the schools Admins. So You can get thier opinions and what they will try to do to improve this school.

eh i think that some kids need to be forced and know tha they need education because a mind is a terrible thing to waist. If kids weren't forced into schools then the kids might be getting to even more trouble with drugs and end up in jail. the schools just need to figure out a way to lower the apathy of students.

Interesting artictle but maybe add more to it, maybe a bit about how some teachers inspire some kids to want to learn, maybe teachers should take a workshop on how to inspire aswell as teach.

I agree with the opinion of your article but it is an opinion. Maybe you could get the other side of the story. Like maybe get one of the school administrators to explain why they are taking away electives and making more reading classes.
And it's kinda short so maybe add a little length.

This seemed kinda short. I like that you were straight forward but maybe you should think about making a stronger entrance to your article like a strong statement that leads into how you feel. Also think about getting an interview with someone.

get a teachers point of view. not just a biased article.

This is a good place to add in an interview with an admin see we can see what they have planned to try and improve the situation, and to even this out. Your article is so damned biased it's losing its humor.
